I am looking for Shabbos shoes for a seven year old girl (size 1) with the following:
1. Good arch support
2. Preferably not Mary Janes - I'm being told that that it's not so "in" at that age
3. Brand name is not an issue
4. I'm not willing to pay a fortune
I'm in Passaic - not really practical to go to Brooklyn etc. Could buy online or maybe Monsey.
Any ideas?

T straps can have the same much support as Mary Janes and are very stylish these days.

op did you end up finding shoes- I'm looking for same but for a 6 year old. I actually used to live in Passaic but moved out of town so I don't care about "in" but rest I do.

Sometimes it's the expense of not being able to support myself.

Next direct has cute black velvet ones that have a crisscross ribbon with a bow in the back.
For some reason they show the black in a slightly different style. Look at the style of the other colors and that's what the black looks like.

how come lands end doesn't have half sizes? The reviews say that they run big, does that mean I get her the size she is currently wearing that is too small- she's now wearing a size 13 from payless?

Honestly when ordering shoes online I always order two sizes because it's really hard to get it right, every company runs differently, and then we don't have to wait another week for the next size to ship.
I saw nice Zara shoes and landsend shoes

I ordered from Next Direct for $28. I used their size chart and ordered the exact size the measurement showed and the shoes fit perfectly! and they are adorable! Try them. I know someone else who ordered at Landsend and was also very happy.

I've seen a lot of girls wear the above styles. My dd has the sparkly ballet flats, but the other ones have straps. |
Thank you for this. My DD just had a growth spurt, and I had ordered shoes for her in the summertime that no longer fit. Hoping those shoes are true to color; I just ordered them as DD's Shabbos outfit for the season is burgundy and camel colored...should be really cute, and not too expensive!
