Looking to stock freezer and cook ahead.
Who has best prices for
basic meats like
- chicken breast
- chicken quarters
- extra lean ground beef
- chuck kolichel
Frozen veggies like string beans, stir fry, maybe carrots and zucchini.
Is it cheaper to buy frozen carrots or buy fresh and prep yourself? With Second option you lose peel weight.
Frozen fruit
Pineapple, peach, cherries
Any place cheaper than Costco?
Fish:
- Tilapia not from China. Costco has it pretty expensive, about $7/lb.
- salmon
I've heard of a restaurant supply place from friends, super cheap great quality salmon but I have to call a rav to double check if it's ok to buy from them. Anyone heard of them?
- pollock or cod
Doughs like mazor mini puff pastry squares, egg roll wraps

I stock up by using watsonsale.com and going to a few stores to get their sales. I stock up when chicken legs were 1.99lb, broccoli and cauliflower were 3.99 a bag, etc

We recently realized that Walmart has some with a hechsher for much cheaper than the kosher brands. Buggy things, like strawberries, you probably want a kosher brand, but I've bought sugar snap peas and other such things for a lot cheaper.
