My daughter is the last bas mitzvah party in her class. (it's a small class, just 12 )
After alot of arts and craft projects, we thought we would do something with food.

we originally thought of doing piping your own cupcakes, but they did that in daycamp this summer .

I saw online someone did, you have cookie dough, the girls cut out shapes of their hands. You paint it on the nails with colored, egg whites like nail polish.
Bake it, and then they decorate it with icing.
It's cute, but I don't know if I will have enough time to go through all those steps in like 1 hour I have for the activity.

I'm looking for something else along those lines that I can demonstrate or show myself. Any suggestions?
Maybe think outside the box, to something not cookie/cake that I can have as a demonstration?

Pre baked cookies in various shapes that the girls can decorate with different colors icing.
Challah baking. You make the dough. Have someone talk to them about the chashivus of the mitzvah and then braid it into loaves and bake.
Bake babka or rugelach.

Are you trying to teach them something or just let them have fun?

How much time are you trying to fill?

I'm a big fan of personal pan pizzas with lots of topping options that the kids can make and then eat. Much better than loading them up with sugar from icing.
