No one ever wins these vax arguments. Really no point in debating. It ends right where it started. Both sides believe they are correct and the other side is crazy. Kind of like political arguments. Ultimately pointless.

lol, but I've spoken with Dr. Paul Offit. He isn't scared. He has "rules of engagement" and such a discussion would not have been productive. I wouldn't engage in such a situation or with such a person. EVER. It's futile.
It reminds me of the time he was invited to the Opera show. They were doing a vaccine injury segment with a mother who said her son was autistic due to MMR and a naturalist. You see, there is always a victim (a little one), hero (naturalist) and the bad guy (big pharma/vaccines/Offit). He turned down the offer because it wouldn't do anyone any good to engage when you are coming in as the bad guy in an emotional segment. This situation reminds me of this.
Sometimes its better to say please leave me alone.

Afraid is one option. Busy is another. The list goes on. Why assume fear?
PS I'm anti vaxx but this doesn't prove anything.

Please stop with the binary thinking ok? Do you think that a person with his responsibilities may want to just eat lunch alone or quietly? Can you consider that he might have wanted to use the time to prepare for something that was on his afternoon calendar?
Trust me I have no fame and no one is sticking a mic in my face while I'm having lunch. But, I don't understand why this should be acceptable behavior. Can you tell me why it should be?

Or maybe he knew exactly what the cameraman was up to? He didn't want to identify himself "oh I'm just a cameraman".
Plus you never know how many times this guy was bothered or interrupted during his lunch. Can't a guy enjoy his lunch in peace?
Oh, by the way, ALL VACCINE DISCUSSIONS NEED TO BE IN CONTROVERSIAL TOPICS. THE END.
