Any ways to clean a washing machine? It smells so badly like mold! Thanks

Try running it on very hot water with plenty of bleach.

Your company likely posted online how to run a cleaning cycle every so often. You can Google it and get precise instructions.

Once it's clean, always leave it open between uses.

I'm with poster who wrote to run cycle with bleach. I do it twice yearly, it really keeps machine clean and fresh smelling. Also you must clean manually the drum, bleach holder and agitator where you put in fabric softener. Then run cycle with bleach. Good luck!

If you're in Israel do a blank run with citric acid too - it gets rid of the calcium buildup.

Mold on FRONT LOADERS is much more common. I hope this helps someone - sorry to change topic. I put a rag with bleach inside the rubber and close and let sit a few hours then more bleach before leaving house (I hate the bleach smell) and turn on the cycle called cleanup or something like it. FRONT LOADERS Be aware that front loaders get moldy if you dont keep open between loads. Also if you have small or smaller kids its a danger that they can cholila close when one is inside and start it. Not trying to put paranoya but some people put silly items inside the machine like a basket to avoid a child going in and I dont know if that helps that much. There's a gadget online to protect the door but out of stock. If I come up with idea ill post.
