I cover with a snood or a shaitel in the house except in the shower or sleeping. My husband and I learned that he can't make a brocha when I have uncovered hair so this was just easier and I don't mind.

I'm pretty sure that the Halacha is just that he can't look at you.

Yes. Sheitel for outside and when I come inside I usually switch to a snood.

Only if there are men besides my husband or immediate family (father, brother) in the house. Sometimes I end up leaving it on throughout the day, but I don't dafka cover inside my own home except for unrelated men.

Yes except in the shower and when it slips off.
I do uncover it to brush and cut it though.

Yes. I wear a pre-tied bandana. I only uncover when I go to bed...

Always covered -- w/a snood/pre-tied. Even when sleeping.

Usually with a snood. Once I'm showered for the night, I don't.

Yes.
Not while sleeping and once I'm in my room after a shower.
I like my daughter to see that I always have my head covered.
Inside I wear a snood and shaitel when I leave my house.
Edited to add the type of head covering

I generally keep my hair covered once the rest of me is dressed (ex. I'll go from bed to the bathroom and start waking the kiddos before I get dressed).
But I don't think twice about taking off my tichel for a bit if it's starting to irritate me. If it comes off and I'm too busy to fix it (in the middle of bathing a kid), whatevs.

Why did I get a hug for this?

Yes, always. Either shaitel (which I find very comfortable) or tichel (for cooking or if it's hot).

Because people don't like it when you remind them of the correct halacha if it makes them uncomfortable.

No, because my headcoverings all give me headaches, so the less I wear them the better. If not for the headaches, I probably would wear them all the time.
