We currently live in KGH. We are frum professionals and we love kgh but its not so affordable and we would like a decent house. People are moving out to west hempstead but I would like more info from people who live there. How much is housing? We would need a decent house (nothing too rundown) with at least 4 bedrooms. What are the good neighborhoods? Our kids will be in Tiferes moshe and bais yaakov queens- how does the busing work- is it an extra fee? How about playgroups? What kind
Of community is it? For those that live there would u say it is an extension if queens? If we moved without friends would we have a hard time breaking in?

Just asking again. We would really like more information- especially interested in knowing how the commutes work with kids in BYQ- do u need to pay extra for transportation or it is included as regular transportation. Also how hard on it is it for ur school aged kids to make the commute daily?

I can't really answer most of your questions since I don't actually live in West Hempstead. However, my kids go to Bnos Malka and they have girls in their classes who travel in from there. Not sure if it's the same for BYQ (but I assume it is) but bussing is the same and there is no additional fee. Why don't you call the school and ask them. Whoever is in charge of bussing should know. Good luck with your decision.
