My dh finally got a job. He has been out of one for about four months and we were really struggling and he was applying to lots of places. I want to give him something to show I appreciate the hard work he was doing to try and find one and to show how happy I am that he got accepted now to one. Any ideas?

Personalize something he could use at his new job.
Ie a mouse pad with a pic of your family
A cup for water/coffee with a sweet message
What job did he get.. That might help idea wise

Is it an office job? A new briefcase or messenger bag. A really nice pen. For lower budget but still nice, a plant for his new office. If he's a coffee drinker a thermos or mug. A little work involved but not too pricey.... a personalized calendar with family pictures for each month. If he takes lunch with him, a nice new insulated bag... maybe with something very special packed for his first day.
