If you like your roomba or other brand robotic vacuum, can you post the brand and model number and where you got it?
What about the scooba? the robot washer?
Do they work well?

I had a Roomba and a Braava (the floor washing one). Honestly, maybe in a small bachelor pad, these are useful. In an apartment with kids, and/or animals, it gets lost, overfills every day, chokes on charging cords and yoyo toys... don't waste your money.

Always wanted one. How does it work?
If the issue is it overfilling how often does it need to be emptied? I hate vacuuming and have a bad back so sweeping can be annoying...

I'm interested in getting one of these but so confused as there are different products on the market.
does this vacuum or wash the floors?
does it do a decent job in the kitchen as well?
I'd love to hear firsthand feedback!
thanks!

It looks like neato is for pets and allergy vacuum, did you get it for that reason or because you heard good things about it? Which model do you have?

Moving to a place with wood floors except in kitchen which is tile.
Would any of these work?
I want something to sweep as I will use a bona mop to mop up stuff. I was told water is terrible for wood...

I believe Costco is carrying some of these robotic cleaners now. Since Costco has such a good return policy, you can always get one from there and try them out. If they don't work out for you, it's an easy return.

I have a small dog. She spends the whole day searching the floors for any stray crumbs. I've decided to name my next dog Roomba!
BTW, anything that a dog would not eat, is not considered chametz. She's available to do bedikas chametz the week leading up to Pesach. 100 shekels an hour, satisfaction guaranteed.
