I was just wondering how much you spend on your internet and phone plan? I have the cheapest plan on verizon and they went up 14 dollars in the last few months. It used to be $55 after tax, went up to $62 and now I got my bill and it's $69!!
Does anyone have a cheaper plan, or know where I could get one?

Metropcs
$60 (I pay $55 because I have a family member on my account)
I get unlimited talk n text
Unlimited 4g lte data (25 gb) officially slows down after.
8 gb hotspot which is seperate from the unlimited data but you need a metropcs device because it has the hotspot app special for that. But you can use any unlocked device.
From the Verizon family there is red pocket, page plus, selectel.
At&t- there is airvoice
Sprint- has boost
T Mobile - metropcs

I'm in Israel. Cancelled my landline and pay 10NIS/line for our mobile phones. That's about $3/month. 100 minutes, unlimited SMS, 100mb of data (which is fine, because I've disable data for everybody and we just use wi-fi).

TWC became Spectrum in Brooklyn. Paying $50 for basic phone and low end internet service.
Cell phone from MetroPcs on parents olan for $25 a month unlimited talk and text and unlimited low speed data plus 2 of highspeed.
I was hoping to discover cheaper plans in this thread but it looks like mine is cheapest so far.

If you have wifi already drop the phone and set up a Google phone.

How does the speed on Optimum Basic compare to the default standard one that's $60 a month. What do you use it for, and do you notice any lag or delays?

I use internet mostly for pleasure (not business) so I'm not so fussy - I never had the faster optimum, so can't compare, but I'd say basic is good, but not great. Worth it to try it though if don't have a major need.
