I am looking for ideas for a chol hamoed trip for Friday. I have to work on Thursday so if I do all the cooking ahead of time I will have most of a very long Friday to do something fun. But can't travel too far.
My kids range in age from 9 till 15. Don't like amusement parks or zoos. We live in NY near NJ border.

Do they like museums? Would Liberty Science Center or American Museum of Natural History be interesting for them?
