When do you have you walk around with your hair uncovered if at all?
Do you walk around the house or in your bedroom only maybe never...?

I uncover my hair as soon as I am home for the night. I keep a pre tie tichel on the small table by the door in case of unexpected guest. I don't go in public places with my hair uncovered ever.

I would like to know what others do as I only know what I did when I was married. Maybe I could have done differently...

My hair is only uncovered in front of another person in the bedroom or bathroom behind a locked door.
Sometimes if I'm home alone and I'm just out of the shower or if I'm exercising, I'll also uncover it.

Once I get ready for bed /shower, even if I come downstairs after that, until I get dressed the next morning.

My mother was always makpid to keep her hair covered at all times at home. I am not. I usually cover my hair when I dress for the day though and I will often wear a snood to bed out of habit but not makpid. If I need to answer the door I will be fully tznius including covering my hair. When I come out of the shower I will keep hair uncovered until it is dried a bit. My background is chassidish. I am currently more yeshivish than chassidish.

I'm a baalas tshuva. No one ever gave a reason why its the holy grail other than the business with the sotah..
I would also like to know why it is emphasized ad nauseum and ad infinitum . More than bain odom lchavero more than hurting someones feeling more than honesty in business
More than white collar crime.
More than chilul hashem..
Yom ha misa doesnt atone for chilul hashem.
So I want wear a shmata on my head when its socially required

Very early and very late when I'm the only one up, the alarm is on, and there is no chance of visitors. And sleeping.

Almost always at home, at my parents' house, and at certain friends' houses. I usually put on a head covering around the same time I put on real shoes- when I need to be "fully dressed" to go out.

Always uncovered. The sotah business fails to convince me.

I cover my hair when I get dressed. Sometimes that's earlier in the day and sometimes that's later. I wear a pre-tied bandana around the house and switch to a sheitel when I go out. As soon as I come home for the day the wig comes off and the bandana goes back on. I usually take the bandana off when I get ready for bed.
The only exceptions to my usual behavior are if I have a headache or wet hair. Then I will go around uncovered unless someone comes to the door.

When I am at home (or showering at the gym, etc.), the tichel is off.
I might put it on if I have male company who would feel awkward being around my uncovered hair.

It is covered when I leave my house or have unrelated male visitors in my home. At every other time it's uncovered-- which makes me never want to go outside!!!
