Was just wondering about the latest craze - spinners.
I read somewhere that it helps people with ADHD and/or autism to focus.
Anybody did research on this?
Also, how do I differentiate between a piece of junk and the "real thing"?

Fidget toys are definitely not just for people with SN.

We've got some fidget spinners. They are cheap plastic things, modern equivalent of a yoyo. Very popular in my boys schools. Haven't got a cube yet because they are really expensive. They are popular in Israel as well at the moment.

I saw them at Amazing Savings for $2.99. That's probably a knockoff but I don't think most kids would care.
I mind a lot less when the kids go crazy over something like this, which is a one-time purchase, as opposed to things like Shopkins.

Thanks Rutabaga my little girls were asking for this but I wasn't going to buy it for $12 each! I will look for it in Amazing Savings.
Can't believe I am dealing with fads in kindergarten!!
