My kids keep talking about "fidget spinners". Is this a new thing? Is it "in" everywhere?
Where can I buy it most cost effectively? (live in north jersey)

It's definitely "in" in Lakewood. Try amazon.

You can get it for 10.00 or so on amazon. The really good quality ones are 20.00. It's the latest fad......

Toys 4 u had for $4 and my kids are thrilled with them. Work great.
I was going to order the $2 ones from Amazon, but they had a long delivery time and I figured by the time they come it won't be "in" anymore.

I just picked up 2 of them at Double Header for $4.99 each. Pretty floral patterns. I was there for socks and noticed them.

Funny. Just saw it in a big mall for $15 each. Wonder if the one for $4 is the same. For what age is it?? I can't do any tricks with it!!

The cost can depend on plastic or metal. Plastic is great, metal is better than that

Plastic one cracks after heavy use. But I still don't think I would be $15 for those things.

Just curious, is this something all the kids in a family can share, or would each child need his/her own?

They are very in where I live. So in, in fact, that the school has banned them because of how distracting they are.

I got each of my kids their own. Unless your kids are really good at taking turns nicely it could turn into a major fight. My kids got them as partial afikomen\helped for pesach presents. I think it was a great deal for me.

Absolute craze here. My older one came home the other day with the news that the principal banned them.

So funny- my kids- in Israel (RBS) all came home this week asking for spinners- pronounced Speener in Hebrew ;-). They said the better ones are in American and we should ask Grandma in America to buy them one...I guess fads will always be fads...
