Looking for recommendations for a 16" first bike for my 4.5 year old daughter. Would appreciate hearing which brands you had a good experience with which are comfortable and durable and ideally not too heavy.
I've spoken to the local bike shops and they recommend brands like trek, giant, Fuji, haro and Schwinn. If your child had a good experience with one of these I'd like to know.
At the same time they are on the pricier side so I'm wondering if for a first bike bikes from amazon or toysrus or Walmart are just as good and if so what brand?
What features are important to look out for? Also how many seasons does a child keep their first 16" bike approximately?
