Soak the corn with the leaves (husks) on, and then bake for an hour (with leaves).
The leaves and silk will come away cleanly from the corn, and the taste is amazing. You can do them while you're roasting a chicken or other dishes, just arrange them around the sides of the pan, on the oven racks.
It works great on the bbq, too.

Bring a pot of water to a boil.
Once the water is boiling, add the corn, cover, turn off heat and let stand 3 to 5 minutes.

Put the corn in a pot and cover with cold water.
Put on the stove on high heat. As soon as the water comes to a boil, leave the corn for 1 more minute, then remove and place in a bowl of cold water (or just pour out the hot water and refill with cold). Keep the corn in water until you eat it so it doesn't shrivel.
