Rachel, did you boil your noodles already for the sesame noodles? and freeze? How do you make that. The chicken and meat is in mixed with the noodles?
Does your deli roll taste okay after it's been frozen?

Sorry for not specifying. I will boil them on Friday gd willing. I made the meat and froze it and will put the pasta together with the meat and chicken on Shabbos.
Deli roll tastes yummy even after being frozen. Have you had a bad experience with it?

What is the kosher version of flank steak? Is it skirt steak? I often see recipes for flank steak and am wondering what it would be called in the Kosher stores

Sorry for the delay in posting this. I had a hard week. It's a variation in a recipe that someone on imamother gave me for Purim.
Persian meatballs
Sauté in olive oil
1 large onion chopped
4 garlic cloves, chopped
Add a large can of tomatoes (28 oz)
2 zuchinni (aka courgettes) cut in thick slices
1 medium peeled potato sliced thin
Juice of 2 limes
1 tsp turmeric
Simmer 15 minutes. Meanwhile make the meatball mixture:
1 lb ground beef
1/2 onion, finely minced
Pour the sauce/veggies mixture into a pan. Make little meatballs gently in top. Cover and bake at 350 for about 45 minutes. Like most stews, this is better the next day and it reheats and freezes beautifully.
I serve it with rice.
Serves 4.

Olive dip recipe
I'm not the poster who said she's making it, but I've had success with this:
Fill food processor almost to top with green pomento olives. Add mayo to taste. Add fresh garlic. Puree.

Could this thread be moved to a different section? Seriously? A hug for someone's shabbos menu?
