I was sharing a cleaning lady with someone, she came 3 weeks in a row no problem--the other person made all the arrangements, I don't have her phone number, on the 3rd week, I asked her to clean my bedroom. I know it was a big job--mostly picking up strewn about clothing--I'm expecting, DH and I both work full-time and we have 3 kids, but she did it and a did great job. Since then the next week she just didn't come and this past Friday she claims that she arranged for a "babysitting job" since I didn't call her--I never called her, and the last time she came I thought I told her "see you next week."

Since your friend was the shadchan in this relationship, ask her what's going on. And get the cleaner's phone number, for Pete's sake, so you can contact her directly, assuming she decides to continue working for you.
