my phone broke, and I desperately need to see whatsapp messages. I currently dont have whatsapp on any device other than my broken phone. it seems to me that I need to scan a code from my phone in order to hook up my whatsapp to the pc or ipod & read my messages. is there any other way to connect to my phone number from my pc or ipod? tia

You can download an Android player such as bluestacks to your computer and download whatsapp to there.
If your phone was broken, even if you had already signed in online to whatsapp, you wouldn't receive new messages because it has to connect to the phone constantly.
