How 'bout a vacation?? After you've recuperated, why not let mom watch the kids for a week and pay for you and your dh (and of course the newborn) to go somewhere nice.
Now that would be a perfect gift for me!!

they do not make diaper bags better then the hospital ones!

Just b/c I'm a crazy mom, just make sure the second hand crib you have is new and up to standards. Meaning, that a soda can cannot get between the bars.
And, b'sha tova and I wish you much sleep and for me the boppy was great!
