What's a good place and what style for a 4yo earrings?
I just took off my 4yo dds piercing earrings and gave her small ones but she's complaining they feel like they're falling off when she jumps rope they feel jumpy.
I saw some smaller hoops but they look so thin I'm afraid the holes will almost close up and they won't be able to wear anything thicker in the future. I have a problem like that, and one of my girls does too.
The lady who pierced them suggested post-backs but in my experience with my girls they get lost all the time. I feel like just putting those original ones back in but are they ok to be worn long-term?
Help!! Where should I go - Assouline, _Abecasis?

At that age my girls used to wear these little gold hoops with a dangling heart. I found that hoops gave them more air than posts did, and they were less prone to infection. (if they did get an infection, a tiny dab of hydra-cortisone cream once or twice a day for a day or two usually got rid of it quickly.)
If you are looking for earrings that are 14K gold, you can try Abecasis, or any jewelry store. If you want to try fake earrings, JRP on 2nd street has a nice selection.

After many infections and lost earrings (even 14k gold) I got a cheap pair from hosiery plus. It loops around and has a flower attached to the loop, no separate charm in a loop. It's not a post back. She bathes, swims and sleeps in them. So far so good!

My girls all wore simple gold hoops until they were in their teens and started buying junk jewelry.
