I just enjoyed some raw cauliflower and now I'm in so much pain I feel like I'm in labor. Huge air pockets that are killing me all the way to my back like back labor.

I'm used to it, but many people have that reaction. Feel better! (Take something for the gas. Vegetable charcoal is good).

If you check put joyfulbelly.com, there's helpful info for "Vata imbalance", which can difficulty digesting certain foods like raw vegetables.
Lots of info, but taken superficially & with a grain of salt, I find the site helpful

If you are not used to eating foods with high fiber content like cauliflower, they will cause gas.
I eat a lot of fruits and veggies but if I stop eating my usual high quantity for a few days, I get gas when I go back to eating my usual large amounts of fruit, raw peppers etc.
