Hi I'm looking to find the meanings of the following two names:
Genendel
Hendel
Does anybody know? Also do you know anyone with these names? Thank you.

Based on what I just read online, Hendel seems to derive from the Hebrew name "Hannah" and it means " grace".

Yes, Hendel was my grandmother's name, and it translates to Chana. We haven't used it yet but would name another daughter iy"H Chana.

When I was trying to do research online, I found the explanation for the name Genendel that the previous poster posted a link to, as well as references to Gan Eden. When we asked my rav who is an expert on names, he said that Genendel refers to chessed.
