I dont know if this is what u want. I make a yellow sponge and marble chocolate syrup through it. Its in the by cookbook chocolate chip pound cake. It tastes yum and the marbleing comes out really well

do you use mini chocolate chips in that cake? when I use regular chocolate chips they sink to the bottom...

replace one packet with 3 tablespoons of cocoa and a tablespoon of oil or melted butter/margarine/shortening
