My new candlesticks feel like one is somewhat heavier than the other. Is this typical? or did my candlesticks get switched in the shop?

Why not take them in to be weighed? These things usually are sold by weight.

Silver candlesticks often have weighs in them. I believe they are only sold by the weigh in silver.

Interesting. The only silver item that we have is a becher, which was sold by weight, so I assumed it was always done like that.

There is lead weights that unscrew on some pieces. We have another piece that has a "door" on the bottom that unscrews with weights in it. I assume it is to give stability.
