I need a dress for a simchah coming up soon. No time to order on line. Can anyone recommend a walk in store that carries formal dresses/outfits for plus size petite? ( size 16)
Unfortunately, I dont live near any frum dress stores. I am looking for department or small store recommendations.

Without knowing your location, it hard to help out. Try any major departments stores that are in your region, I guess. National ones, like Macy's. & Lord & Taylor.

I live in New York.
Macys I have never found to be helpful. They dont carry my size 16 petite.

JCPenney also has a pretty decent petite department. Not sure if your are guest or member of the family. Most of the dresses will require the use of a shell. Look on line to see if anything piques your interest.

Why don't you just check websites of major department store chains to get an idea of their selections?
Lord & Taylor, Nordstrom, etc. all have nice selections.

just checked out there website. They have beautiful jacket dresses! I hope they have them in stock in their stores!

I know but I need to find my crazy hard to find size in the store itself. ( 16 petite) Most of the time this size is available only on line.
I have been to these stores in the past and have come back depressed. ( they only have mediums...)
