Hi I was wondering if someone could give me a simple compote recipe . I would like to use apples and plums How much water and sugar to use ? I would like to serve it as a desert

I do not have a recipe for you but just wanted to suggest that you change the subject to include the word compote.

Someone once gave me a recipe - I only made it 1x and didn't find it to be so good. I think it had a bag of frozen blueberries.

These days I make a "cheating" recipe. It's with jello and canned fruit.
