You asked for it. I dont remember which users asked me to post poetry under my username a few weeks ago... But here I go

I just want to be free
Let me take in what I cannot see
Imagination is the problem
And the solution
But I can't solve em

I'm drowning in confusion
So Ive got a grainy resolution
on my eyes
You're to smart to die

say a one, a two, and a three
I don't want to be this, I just want to be me
Clawing at the darkness
It told me it made me see

Say a one two three
C'mon say cheese
A sarcastic remark
I've got better dreams

Don't beleive the scam
This is not who I am

Shackled chains, broken keys
You know it's all up to my knees
and I've got a few choice words I'd say
It's hard to rain on your parade

Nothing will suffice, just to breathe
You know it all ain't nothing to me
and I've got a few mistakes I've made
and I've got battle scars that won't fade

Say a one, a two, and three
I dont want to be this, I just want to be me
Don't believe the scam
This isn't who I am

If you look to my scars you'll see

I decided to change the title of this thread, because I write poetry often, and also I like having my stuff in one place. If ever want to use something for other writing or a project, I know where to delete it from. In any case, I think the first poem was posted during a 3 day yuntiv, so not many people saw it. Here's another poem:

Leave me be in a dark room
So I can see, so I can breathe
When it's only me and you
and control is quite useless
long gone tools
with faded rules

Once did I see
meadows and valleys
All turned to dusk
by the sharp breeze
and the day is quite young
and the moon is quite wistful
Where have I gone?
Oh where have I gone?

Running from that which lies in my heart
tackled the end before I did the start
and you tell me I shine bright like a star
If so, where is my light?
Why can't I see it?

Leave me be, in a deep forest
So I can hear
So I can live
When it's only me and you
and control is quite useless
I ask, where is my light?
Why can't I see it?

Truth is crystal clear
but I'm sick of being here
I know I am spiraling
but am I going up?
Regret is in my name
there's too many cheaters in this game
and if I can close my eyes
then I can truly see

I'm losing and I'm lost
and a chance was just a toss
you tell me hells so far away
but I've found it in today
and the pain does burn
but now it's my turn
balls in my court, time to choose
how to react, how to be a good Jew

There's a price to pay
no matter what you say
will it be your values
or your life that has no value?

The worst choice is not to choose
or to live by your own rules
but if you accept their challenge
you will surely lose

And I'm losing and I'm lost
I'm sure this pain is worth the cost
you tell me hells so far away
but I've found it in today
and the pain does burn
but now it's my turn
Balls in my court, time to choose
I know your in control
And I won't lose

(this is only a part of a poem, didn't want to post the rest)

Yes I'm lost in this mess of feelings
But between the thorns, I'll find meaning
Sure love gives up, you trust and get rejected
you fall and die, but you'll be resurrected
you live to find answers that may not exist
you search hard for color, and you persist
push past the emptiness, and reach for the mist
and pray hard that something good will come from this

Hey you know you've done so much
And sometimes you can be a little rough
on yourself

You compare yourself, your life, and how you're doing
But don't you know those lead to flawed and ridiculous conclusions
Even though it feels like it won't

Sure we run alongside each other
But we are so different from one another
And if you don't keep your eyes on your track
You'll crash

Burnout seems like it's inevitable
When your tank's on empty, and your heart is full
And stopping for a moment seems optional
And you know you aren't thinking rational

Sure we run alongside each other
But we are so different from one another
And if you don't keep your eyes on your track
You'll crash

And when you took your eyes off of your track
You saw everything that you lack
And fell
because what I truly need to succeed
is right here, it's all been given to me

But you've forgotten all that you already know

and I have made some strides that are different
cuz I'm unique, no need to be 'with it'
and although you feel all but you are the same
your emotions play tricks, they'll call you names

Sure we run alongside each other
But we are so different from one another
And if you don't keep your eyes on your track
You'll crash
