Anyone have experience with a Honda Pilot or Toyota Highlander? Specifically, is there much trunk space with the back row up? I'm considering those.

My friend has a Honda pilot and she wishes she went with an actual mini van instead. For local errands it is totally fine, but when traveling with the whole family it is really tight, and not much trunk space at all.
Toyota Highlander might have more room, but I think its the same size wise as the honda pilot
The suv list in my last post are bigger options

We have 3 kids and our Ford Explorer is perfect. Nice amount of trunk space if you don't use the second row.

I have a Honda odysse and dh has a Mazda cx5.
I have 3 kids I us3d to have the 7 seater Mazda(cx9). It is torture with 3 cars3ats of u need a trunk. Although dh didn't want to be the minivan we r both glad I insisted since I can fit all 3 carseats and have plenty of room on the trunk. I would not get an SUV with 3 kids u less it is a huge one. Completely not worth it. (I live on a HUGE hill that's why dh has an SUV)

I have the Traverse.
Honestly I wanted the Highlander but it wasn't on special and now I have the traverse I have compared trunk space it seems that the Traverse is on the top of the list of how much space you have with all the seats up.
I love it and the trunk space is massive.
