I was told it is a reliable hechsher.
here is info I found on it:
Authority: Rabbi Mordechai Kaplinsky, Brooklyn NY, U.S.A.
Source: Cranberry Bog FrogsĀ® [Cape Cod Provisions, Massachusetts, describe their product as "sweetened dried cranberries and roasted cashews smothered with rich caramel and premium milk chocolate."]
Format:
Date: 2008
Size: 7.3mm W x 7.0mm H
Comment: While BKN may be interpreted as an abbreviation of Brooklyn where the hechsher and its hashgacha are based, it is actually an abbreviation of three forenames within the Kaplinsky family. Binyamin for Rabbi Kaplinsky himself and Kornmel Nachum for Rabbi Kaplinsky's father who started the hashgacha.
