Okay, first of all, is it true that Israeli couscous, ptitim, and farfel are all the same thing? Is there another English name for those mini toasted pasta shapes?
Nextly, I have picky little kids who like these in theory, but won't eat much when I cook it like rice (or with spices or with the sugar/spice recipe I've seen here). I was thinking they may like it better with a few additions as a soup or stew. So something more liquidy and/or saucier. I was thinking a tomato sauce base, but they don't like plain tomato sauce. So does anyone have a suggestion for a simple recipe like that? Thank you!

We did well with an alphabet soup type. Use veggies your family would like.

You're brilliant! That's just what I was picturing, but couldn't place the picture to the name enough to get a recipe. Thank you!
