hey we are under contract for a house (we live out of the tri-state area) and my husband just got offered a job for 15 thousand more in a different state (also out of the tri-state area). we want to move the other city has more things for us as a family but we are supposed to be closing on the house here in September anyone know anything about real estate

anonymously b/c didn't tell parents or anyone that we may be moving lol

Well maybe the bank will turn down your loan application & solve it? Or someone else can offer them more $ ? Good Luck.

I'd think if you're already under contract, that means you should have a lawyer working for you. Can't you ask your lawyer about breaking it?

get denied by a mortgage broker. Most contracts have a clause stating you will go through with the deal if you can receive a mortgage in X amount of days.

but you might not get back your deposit. OP, do you hve a fully executed contract?

even if you have to close, you may find someone to take the house and your mortgage. maybe you can rent it to someone?

find out if there are any violations ... it would be a legal reason to break contract ...

You may be able to flip the house and actually earn some money on the deal. See if that's an option.
