I don't want my kids to use my computer but I think this is a good thing for them. I want to save it so I can transfer to an older computer that has no internet. Is it possible?

I've never tried it, but this seems like it should work. Probably easier with a jump drive than a CD, if that's possible for you

the first instruction says to open firefox. If I download firefox will it slow down my computer?

it shouldn't unless you have no memory left on your computer. But even if that is the case, you can uninstall it right after you copy the game over.
