Truth.
But don't pretend public school is totally balanced either.
And that it's a solution.
And that it's only our system with problems.
And bash our education.

I've always asked how important is it to be able to recite rashi's by heart when my 13 month old is screaming all night from an ear ache
B"H my kids are all out of school now, but I remember the days on end my girls were up to 3 am studying. Today they are all stay at home moms.
Don't get me wrong, they all went to college 1. Masters in Psychology, 2. Bachelors in Graphic Design, 3. CPA.
The only one that works outside, CPA, she's not married yet.
BTW, I was a working mom, and went back to school for my masters while my kids were little.

My experience in public education is probably far different than yours, I'll give you that much. I will add that there was a difference in the education of my older kids (CA larger school districts) and my youngest who was educated in a rural consolidated district. But public school like private, requires a parents involvement beyond an annual school conference. It's especially important when it comes to curriculum.
