I think I've over-curried my pea soup - could some cooking genius pleaaaaaaase tell me how to counterract this? It's too spicy - does it need lemon juice or sugar or what????

It's really hard to "unspice" something. I would freeze the soup, and next time you make a big pot of peas, throw in your curried soup to season it. That will dilute it enough.
If you have quick cooking lentils, you could make a big batch of them, and then add the pea soup. Throw in some diced carrots, and it will be yummy. The small red lentils don't have to be presoaked, and will fall apart and have a creamy texture. They also don't have a strong "lentil" flavor, so they'll blend well.

Add some pureed potato to adsorb the spiceness.
