Don’t think it was her intent all along. U mean to give name of my father? Naaa she’s not like that. Doesn’t play games. And if she 100% didn’t want to use my fathers name, she wouldn’t have. That’s why when she first told me her decision about the name ( My dhs father) I didn’t try to talk her out of it b/c I respected her decision, even though I really didn’t understand it. Again, my initial reaction was shock. & then acceptance.
She told me she appreciated my husbands input and then her & her dh talked about it. They have a wonderful relationship B’H.
