Here's the situation: In 2015 my identity was tampered with, and I still haven't filed my 2015 tax return. It's a bit of a complicated situation, don't want to go into details on a public forum. I am looking for an accountant who can help me.
I don't have money to pay an accountant. Is there a gemach or pro bono accountant I can reach out to?

Once tax season starts (in a few weeks) there will be plenty of free tax places for those who aren't high income. (usually students looking to get experience).
Touro College and COPE usually offer this service.

Achiezer is a Jewish Far Rockaway community organization. They help with all sorts of things. From what I know they don't turn away people who aren't from the 5 towns.
I know someone who had an unusual case and really needed pro bono help and they found a professional firm who was willing to donate time for them.
