At what height or age do you transfer from a car seat to a booster seat?

40 lbs,
and I'm not sure what height. it should say on the booster, or instructions. or actually you can go to any website that sells them and it will tell you what height and weight you can use it from.

high back boosters may be used from 30 lbs

my DH was wondering if my 2 1/2 year old can seat in a booster seat.

depends on size and weight, should say so on the booster.
my sis still has her girls in a car seat and they are almost 4.
