Can I freeze baked Zitti.
My recipe mixes ricotta with marinara sauce to the pasta and then add shredded cheese.
Basically the same ingredients as lasagna just all mixed up and a different pasta shape.
Will it get watery/ runny.

Bake it as you would normally, then wrap it well, and freeze it.
Defrost.
Delicious baked ziti.

I was planning to mix it up and freeze it before baking and baking it on YT
It's better to bake and then freeze?

If you can bake it on yom tov then do that. It's better that way. Freeze it raw.

Go ahead and freeze it raw (obviously the noodles should be cooked). I do it often.

That's what I plan to do
It's not really raw, it just need to meld all the flavors together and get bubbly and yummy.
