Has anyone ever done it? How do you find out if their are liens are the house?
Did you speak to a lawyer or anyone before putting in a bid? This is our first time and I'm trying to find out as much info as I can before bidding.
I've never done online, but I went to an in person auctiin. The website where the house is listed should have all the property and title info and your realtor should be able to tell you if there are any liens as well. Be careful, because many times there are added fees in the fine print for auctions (such as an additional percentage that needs to be paid in addition to the winning bid).
