The liner keeps the water in, so put it in the tub so that when the water drips down t goes to the drain, not a puddle on the floor.
The fabric curtain is for aesthetics. It goes out as the water could ruin it or cause mold.
During a shower pull the liner to keep the curtain dry.

Is it weird to put the fabric curtain inside too if it's covered with the plastic liner?

Yes. Why would you do this?

I think it would look funny.
Only put it in when you’re washing the floor.

Because the shampoos, conditioners, body washes, and others are on the ledge, so if one curtain is outside and one is inside , it's hidden in between the curtains when you're taking a shower. And it looks neater inside.

You should have a shelf for these stuff, or some kind of holder.

The body washes are on the ledge where the shower curtain is? Most people keep theirs in caddies, organizers or on the other three ledges. How do you get in and out of the shower without knocking everything over?

These are great options that I have experience with.

thanks for the suggestions ra mom, we have an overhead shower caddy and we put all the stuff in the corners and a little bit sticking out of the corners on the long side of the ledge, but everyone has their own shampoo conditioner bodywash that they like so there's no room and the bathroom is tiny.

If it’s really too much, Everyone should have their own caddy to keep their stuff in and store it in the closet, in a cabinet, in their room (dorm style).
It’s not pleasant to spend your shower trying not to upset the dominoes.

Have you seen this? She uses a tension rod near the wall of the shower and a bunch of handled caddys hanging on it, so each person has their own caddy basket. If you're in a rush, check out the video at minute 4:14, but do watch the whole 6 minute video when you have time for more great ideas.

The ready corner tension pole doesn't work well with a lot of heavy items, I agree.
The regular shower curtain tension rod from one end of the shower to the other is very steady though and works well.

Okay. Most people think from the outside of the shower it looks neater to have the curtain hang straight down to the floor (or near the floor) not being 'tucked in' to a tub. (especially if there are bottles hanging out on the side of the tub).

I hear your struggle.
