My child is graduating out of Early Intervention this week, and we're trying to come up with a gift idea for her feeding/speech therapist who has worked with her for the past 2 years. The therapist is a non-frum woman in her 6os, and she has put her heart and soul into helping my child.
Our best idea as of now: box of nice chocolates
Ideas considered and rejected:
- gift card to a store (too impersonal, and not sure which store would be useful for her)
- spa gift card (don't know if she'd like)
We'd accompany any gift with a card.
Any ideas...?

Very thoughtful of you. How much are you willing to spend? Not all women are into spas...
Sometimes the service coordinater works very hard behind the scenes.. maybe you can send her a thank you card( If you felt she was helpful and caring).

Is she the type to enjoy perfume?

Scarf?
Gc to Starbuck?

Go with a fancy box of chocolates. And a heartfelt card.

Diffusers are always nice. She can display anywhere in her house
