haircutting falls under hygeine, no?
I still get my hair cut professionally. it's expensive, but I feel much better about myself if I have a great haircut, even if no one sees it. I know, I'm silly! I haven't had one in a while though, and I'm considering letting my sister try.

I have my DH do it for me. He does a good job at it. If he ever messes up no one sees it anyways.

I use my Fiskars, and it comes out every time.... well, interesting. Not like anybody sees it, though!

actually a kitchen knife I used maybe once. I once had a clump in my hair that I couldn't get out and I misplaced my scissors so I got a knife and hubby cut it right out. scared me thinking it will slip and who knows what.

I keep my hair in a pony tail tucked under my shaitel.... my hair is shoulder length however at times quite bulky for tucking under.
Did anyone have their hair thinned, and what exactly does that mean?

I put mine in a pony, then put another pony in about an inch below the first. I then tell my hubby to cut BETWEEN the pony's.
its happened that he cut above the first one (there was only one in at the time) and I could not make a pnytail anymore!!!

I get my hair thinned all the time. I have the thickest hair!
The person who does it uses a special kind of scissors where only one blade cuts. So you're not really cutting shorter just thinning it out.

I usually have any peanit (Shaitelmacher) cut my hair and it looks good. But tell me - how can you live bold? I loved my hair and it was a catastrophy for me when I lost it because of thyroid problems. Now it grows back and seems to be as thick as it has been before b"h!
