Has anyone successfully gotten rid of these horrible creatures? I live in a basement, used to be garage, where I know they are more common. They really creep me out and I don't know what to do  We have no idea where they are coming from and told our landlord but he hasn't done anything yet. Any tips?

They're very common in our town on Long Island. Glue traps help. And hire an exterminator to spray the outside perimeter of the home.
They're harmless but ugly, and they freak me out too.
