I an planning, IYH, to come to Monsey on Sunday 11/4, to arrive late morning and stay for a couple hours to shop.
I'd like to drop off my husband's winter coat to be at least checked, shaatnez removed at that time. If anything that needs mending could also be done, great, but the important thing is that it's checked, any problems removed, and I could buy whatever might need to be used to fix the problem, and have a tailor in my town fix it.
I might have some other things too...
Also, do you know of any robe stores having sales next weekend?

For Shaatnez there's a place on Treetop off of Grove. I think it's the first or second house on the right (there's a sign on the door...).
Robe stores always have sale racks. No one really has full store sales that I've ever noticed.

thanks! if anyone else has any reccomendations re: shaatnez please keep them coming in case things don't work out at Treetop!
Once, there was a storewide sale at the place about rockland kosher, but I'm sure there are other robe stores in Monsey....I just don't know Monsey very well at all.

There's another robe store- Underworld Plaza- in the Pathmark shopping center.
