well, when my 7th was born, his 5-yr-old sister told me that I'm old, but she took it back years later. Then when I had my youngest at age 42, I felt like I'm too old to "do this" (be pregnant, have babies, the whole deal) anymore (and I was right! she's almost 8, B"H)
last nt my 10-yr-old noticed the small wrinkles on my hand and asked me about it. when I told him it happens when people get older; he told me that I'm not old.
like they say, the age written on your passport matters less than how young you are at heart. some days I feel very old...

Like rg I had my last at age 42.... he will be 3 on Kaf Heh Kislev, a wonderful Chanuka present. I don't get asked if I am his grandmother too many times...
I thought, when I had my previous "last" child at age 36 that I was old and finished...which goes to show you that 40 and above is the new "30"?.......
Anyway, H' should send you your new bashert and you can go and have at least a few more kids.... you have TIME!!!!
31 is so young, you will laugh at yourself when you are 45. I was that age when I had my third and I asked the doctor if it was a bit old, pushing things. My nice Catholic doctor just laughed. If you look around you at the general population, most educated women don't start their childbearing years before age 30.

I also only just had my first at 32.

Does that make me young because I'm still in the just having one baby stage?

Or does that make me old?

Yes, you are old.

Now, isn't it nice to be recognized as adult women rather than girls? Think "mature", "wise", "experienced"...

don't worry, I feel like I'm in the same boat! I'm turning 30 in 6 weeks, and I'm expecting my 2nd IY"H(DS is 21 months) I look at my friend who's a year older than me, with 6 kids, and I feel even older.

Nowadays, people are having babies way into their 40s.

You"ll hopefully find your bashert very soon, and you can have quite a few more kids, IY"H. (That's if you want a few more). It ain't over till it's over. Alot can happen in a few years, at least that's what I keep telling myself (I'm going to be 35).

I dont feel or look old but I am getting old, I am 38 as of last thursday with a 10mo old and a 19yr old soon to be 20yr old(in kislev) and none in between. BEH I hope to have more. sometimes I forget how old I am, all the mothers I know with babies the same age as my 10month old are anywhere from 23-30.

My 5 year old son turns to me almost every day with a sad look on his face and says "when can I get to be a brother?"

The guilt is immesurable.
Hope I can have more children within the next 5 years Smile I miss the baby stage
