There are several hotels in Scranton that are walking distance to the shuls. There are likely AirBNB options as well, though it may be too late to get them for this weekend. Look at the location of the shuls and yeshiva on Google maps, and then try to find a nearby rental on AirBNB or VRBO.

Not sure if you'll find any availability, but Chapman Lake is near Scranton and has a shul.

There is a lake outside of Scranton where people have summer homes. There is a shul there. The area is not exclusively Jewish. People know about it mostly through word of mouth. Maybe start a thread with that in the subject and people in the know can assist?

chapman lake is 20-25 minutes from scranton. Summer homes. Not many rentals in general and you are unlikely to find anyone renting out a cottage for the weekend. If you do, it's likely to be VERY expensive.
But it is a beautiful area, with a shul, bais medrash and simcha hall.
