I purchased a wrap skirt online.
It opens up and reveals my thighs when the wind blows.
Any ideas on how to mend it on my own or at the seamstress to keep it closed?
Would prefer not having to wear a slip.
I don't even own one.
TIA

You could get some snaps or buttons to close it. But the point of a wrap skirt is that it's just closed at the top so it can be adjusted... That might be a lot of buttons/snaps... It could be sewn down . But again.. You may as well just get a regular skirt

A strategically placed snap at the lowest part you feel comfortable having blown open will do the trick. Make sure the material is laying where you want it to when you see the snap on.

It really depends on the width of the skirt, is it full, straight, or more of an A? What I would do is, the part that gets wrapped under the skirt, along the edge, I would stitch it down about 3-5" from the top, depending on how much space you need to get it off and on and stitch it either to the bottom or enough to leave a slit for walking. If you don't like the wrap flapping then I would put some invisible snaps, like one or two, but small ones.

You could put a large decorative safety pin on it the way girls' kilts are worn.

This. Sew down some of the seam on the inside, so the skirt still has the wrap look.

Thanks for the great ideas!
I really appreciate it.
I will be discussing them with a seamstress.
