I am certified in education and special education, birth through grade 6. I have worked as a SETSS provider for two years. It was practical for a busy mom, but at the end of the day, the income was not much. It did not justify the many years I invested in my degree.
So basically, I would love to hear from others in the field, what are the best options in Brooklyn as far as well paying and flexibility.
TIA!!

Not sure what u mean by well paying, special ed isn’t exactly a high paying field, but seit can pay nicely if u work a lot of hours and are careful to make up hours u miss.
Other option is to apply to work in the ps system or in a cpse center based program as a classroom teacher but those two options are very committed jobs without the flexibility that p3 or seit has.

ABA rate per hour is not bad.
