Looking for a yeshiva for my son. He’s a normal chassidish boy that the yeshivah from our chassidus isn’t working out for him so looking for a neutral one. He has a slight case of add so I need a place that will be understanding if he gets up and walks around a bit in middle of learning Seder. Looking in the tristate area with a dorm.
(Yes I know it’s late, something else just fell through)

Don’t really know but I wish I could help you... I can only imagine the stress you are going through so close to Elul as you try to work this out.
Is Chasan Sofer in BP an option?
There’s a very kind yeshivish man in Lakewood who is familiar with all the mesivtas and advises people where they would fit in best. Let me know if you want his number.

I’m looking for post high school (which in the chassidish world is after 11th grade. And I think I would need someone involved with the chassidish yeshivah not litvish. But thanks for trying.

Give the man a call.
He should be familiar with the chasidish yeshiva options as well.
There is also Derech Chaim in BP-depends how old your son is.
It’s not chasidish but I believe there are a few chasidish boys learning there.
They have different levels of learning there.

Thanks I will try to find out about it.
If anyone had other options I’m open to hear about them.

My husband went to Derech Chaim
Granted it was 40 years ago
But he said it is thee most Anti-chasidish yeshiva out there

I know that he can’t go to a litvish yeshivah unless at least 50% is chassidish. The boys have a different mentality and the change would be to hard for him.

There's a big difference between a regular boy that has a bit of ADD to a Berry Weber yeshiva. (I don't have anything against the Yeshiva and I think that he does a great service by having such a type of yeshiva as well) Just make sure the fit is right.
